These are my sketches for cast paper, and I'm trying to uce cool color which is good for eyes (in terms of stress relief).
I liked the demo today Rebecca's marker painting for randering, but I like more using water color pencil, it looks like water color painting, but much easier to handle it.
You should look into copic markers, I generally have them with me on Thursdays if you want to try them out. They are brush tipped and very smooth. It is a nice alternative to watercolors and is sometimes compared to it. I personally love to do watercolors as well, but the markers were just much more convenient to carry around with me all the time.
